House Extension

Tuiteam, near Rosehall, Sutherland


designed for private clients


completed in 2012


This sunroom replaced a previous conservatory which was unusable at various times of the year.

Large areas of glass exploit the wonderful views over Strath Oykel, but remain shaded by the deep roof overhang.

The slated roof provides a well-insulated 'lid' for the building, which is made cosy with the addition of a log-burner.


The cladding is European Larch.
